Woodstock, GA Chiropractor Urges Non-Invasive Care before Painkillers

"Following a recent study on the effects of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in treating low-back pain, the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) released a statement urging practitioners, including Woodstock chiropractic services like Superior Healthcare, to consider conventional treatments before resorting to painkillers. In the statement, ACA President Anthony Hamm said research supports the use of conservative treatments to reduce healthcare costs and avoid riskier treatments. The study, published in the July 2014 issue of The Lancet, evaluated the efficacy of paracetamol. Compared to the placebo, paracetamol had little significant effect on relieving low-back pain. "
